Signs by the ghost bikesThe list of ghost bikes in metro New Orleans is very disturbing. We have been placing the round Look Before You Open signs near the ghost bikes. The idea of the round Look Before You Open signs is to give more awareness to drivers and pedestrians to be mindful of people riding bikes.
I can not place the round logo sign on the neutral ground. The powers to be suggested that I place the sign near the ghost bikes. I spoke to all involved and they were okay with the idea. To honor the deceased, the logo sign will not be on the ghost bike but near it. The idea is to get more awareness for drivers and passengers to LOOK for bicyclists as well as pedestrians

It is talisman for making a goal or wish. The left eye is clear and the right is is filled in. Once the goal and/or wish is desired, the left eye is filled in.
I wish that everyone driving looks out for bicyclists and pedestraians to prevent accidents!  I placed two signs on Elysian Fields near Chartres Street on the neutral ground. As the steward of these signs, I have to check on them daily. Yesterday, I saw that they both were gone.
